Random Fight Scene My ears twitched and I jumped backwards at the sound, my entire body coiled to attack. I held out my right hand to one side of me, and tightened the muscles in my fingers. The air behind me cooled significantly. My body knew this position already, knew what I desired, and out of the air materialized my staff. I smiled as the cool handle settled into my awaiting hand; I flipped my staff in front of me and held it with both hands, pointing it towards whatever was approaching me.
